What it was

A themed chat that answered wellness questions from a fixed, human-authored corpus behind a deterministic guard pipeline (crisis, medical-request, grounding), with a persona per theme. It never called a model.

Why it was retired

It shipped flag-disabled for the pilot (PASS-378) and no deployment ever turned it on; the SHS content that would have grounded a real guide was never cleared. Carrying ~4,400 lines of dormant code, tests and flag plumbing for it cost more than the option was worth. The crisis-resources card that lived alongside it is unaffected: GET /api/crisis-resources (backend/app/routers/crisis_resources.py) backs "Get help now" on every passport screen, and the post-check-in tip (UC-6) keeps the topic allowlist in services/tip_corpus.py.
